Iron Elbows started as an experimental guitar/synth duo formed in Boston in 2007, blending guitar riffs + rhythms with atmospheric synths + mashed out effects. Over time their sound has evolved to incorporate their individual efforts and explorations in sound and serve as an origin story of sorts for their sonic adventures as Mint Pillow + Gold Must Die.
